Founder of Better Claim
After more than a decade working in financial advice and NDIS support, I witnessed firsthand how vulnerable people can fall through the cracks, especially when it comes to understanding their superannuation insurance rights.
One experience that changed everything was when I helped a client who, due to a debilitating condition, could no longer work. In distress and unaware of her entitlements, she contacted her super fund and asked to cancel her insurance, worried about the ongoing fees. Without offering any guidance, the fund cancelled her cover, never mentioning she may have been eligible for a Total and Permanent Disablement (TPD) payout that could have changed her life.
I was shocked. No one should be left in the dark during such a critical time.
That moment drove me to create something better. I partnered with Sophie, an ethical and compassionate lawyer who shared my vision, and together we founded Better Claim, a law firm committed to helping people navigate TPD, terminal illness, death, and income protection claims through their super.
